Julie graduated from Lasell College in 1998 and began a professional career as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. In 1991 she attended the Vermont Institute of Massage and became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist shortly thereafter. In 2001, Julie became certified through the International Weightlifting Association as a Strength Training Specialist. She joined Physical Therapy Center of Vermont in 2004.
Julie’s career is heavily influenced by her participation in athletics from middle school through college. She feels her personal experiences with athletics and athletes helps her treatment approaches and enables her to be a more empathetic practitioner.
Her specialties include sports and orthopaedic injuries, pre and post surgical rehab and aquatic physical therapy.
Julie has several hobbies, which include weightlifting, hiking, motorcycle riding and coaching basketball. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their son, a cat and two Rottwilers.
