Athletic Training

Nationally certified and Vermont State licensed Athletic Trainers are health care professionals who specialize in preventing, recognizing, managing and rehabilitating injuries that result from physical activity. As part of a complete health care team, the certified Athletic Trainer works under the direction of a licensed physician and collaborates with other health care professionals, athletics administrators, coaches and parents. Edge Physical Therapy provides athletic training services to Rice Memorial High School and St. Michael’s College athletes, and has participated with the University of Vermont, the Vermont City Marathon, the Vermont Frost Heaves, the Vermont Lake Monsters, the Vermont Principal’s Association, Legion baseball, Far Post Soccer club, AAU basketball, the USTA, and more.
